Our Background

CBERG serves as a vital platform for London-based Black employee-led networks and minority ethnic employee-led networks with a Black heritage sub-group. Our focus is on advancing the development and progression of Black professionals within the UK’s financial services sector.

CBERG offers these employee-led networks, from some of the world’s leading institutions, a unique opportunity to collaborate and drive the development and success of the Black community.
Objectives

Governance
The governance structure of CBERG is designed to promote transparency, inclusivity, and efficient execution of its mission. The structure now operates through a clearly defined framework composed of the wider membership and two sub-committees.

The full membership body of CBERG plays a key role in shaping its direction by:

Execution Sub-committee
Tasked with operational delivery, this sub-committee is responsible for:

Reporting progress and any challenges to the Advisory & Oversight Sub-Committee.
